Objective

With the BEST PERFORMANCE CHALLENGE  for SAP Partners 2010  in the SAP EMEA region SAP’s objective is to reward and recognize high-performing SAP Channel Partners for finishing or winning an Enablement Program  prepare and  perform best based on a defined scoring at the following competitive events:

To have a fair competition, SAP has asked PDAgroup to provide the platform, challenge exercises and jury for this "BEST PERFORMANCE CHALLENGE". Scores get rolled up for the final ranking among all participants. The winners will get an award (and reward), all finishers will get recognized regional and per market unit, a ranking will be published on the platform.

Key Points

1) Validity Period:

The BEST PERFORMANCE CHALLENGE 2010 commences 1 Oct 2009 and ends on 30 Jun 2010.

  • Qualification: Max. 50 points
    based on achieving business plan with SAP ( 1 point for each percentage above 80% is 1 point /cap at 130%) plus up to 20 bonus points for engaging your supporters of your team at your partner and SAP network.
  • Best Performance Day (Case study exercises): max. 100 standard points plus up to 30 bonus points for engaging your supporters of your team at your partner and SAP network and sharing your presentation with others online
    • Max. 25 points for acquisition exercise
    • Max. 50 points for value proposition and closing exercise
    • Max. 25 points for customer upsell exercise

  • Best Performance View (“Real Business Scenario”). Collect  max 50 points through endorsements from new and existing customers on value delivered to them between 1 Oct 2009 and 30 Jun 2010 plus endorsement from your channel mangers on improved fitness to win in reality, now that the challenge period ends read more here.     • Overall local / regional
    • By category local / regional

3) Recognition and reward by a specific logo and award ceremony

  • Winners (ranking best, 2nd best, 3rd best) overall (specific logo)
  • “Best in” the following categories (based on performance and scoring by the jury at the Best Performance Day:
    • Acquisiton (specific logo)
    • Value Proposition and Closing (specific logo)
    • Upsell Business User (specific logo)
  • Both on SAP Market Unit level and regional level
  • Finishers, completing the entire challenge and partipating in all three competitive events (specific logo)

The winners and finishers of the program will be notified no later than 31 July 2010.

The “Best in” recognition will be published, when the Best Performance Day event series has been completed in all partipating market units of SAP EMEA.

4) Eligibility:

  • Basic requirements to participate:
    • SAP Channel Partner must have a signed PartnerEdge Channel Agreement VAR
    • SAP Channel Partner must be accredited in a country belonging to SAP’s EMEA Region
  • Invitation / Confirmation by Local Channel Manager to participate
  • Acceptance of this rules (check mark) in the registration form
  • Each invited partner is allowed to register up to 2 teams where accredited

5) Fees

  • The Starter fee for the Team is 250 € for each team member, with the possibility to use 50 % MDF. This fee has to be paid on receipt of invoice from PDAgroupand team start number.
  • PDAg roup shall not be obliged to reimburse participants for any expenses incurred in connection with the BEST PERFORMANCE CHALLENGE and shall not be responsible for payment of any income or other tax in connection with the BEST PERFORMANCE CHALLENGE.
